How to register

Registration to the KPS205 will be open between 1 January 2025 and 28 February 2025, 23:59 CET. Number of places is limited to 70 people.  

The registration rate covers coffee breaks and lunches, the icebreaker on 31 March, the social dinner on 1 April.

Please be advised, it is not possible to register your participation on-site. There will be no registration counters for cash and credit card payments at the venue. Therefore, all participants must register online in advance via the official registration website for the KPS2025.

All participants, including those giving on-site oral presentations, have to register through the registration page.

The 3rd Kerguelen Plateau Symposium will take place at the MNHN Marine Station, Concarneau.

Rates

Regular: 140 euros.
Students* : 70 euros.
*PhD candidate or Master's student, proof of enrolment required.

Terms and conditions

General
1. Registration must be accompanied by payment. Please pay the registration fee or ask for a quote (see below). Your registration will be confirmed when the payment of the purchase order will be received.

Cancellation policy

• Registration fees will be refunded if the notice of cancellation is received before 15th March 2025, 23:59 CET
• Cancellations after 15th March 2025 and no-shows are not eligible for a refund.
  

Insurance
The organizers cannot accept liability for personal accident, loss, or damage to private property, which may be incurred as a result of the participation in the 3rd Kerguelen Plateau Symposium. Participants are, therefore, advised to arrange appropriate insurance coverage. This should apply not only to travel but also to cancellation costs.

How to pay?

Payment must be made via bank transfer. Your registration will be confirmed when the bank transfer or a purchase order from your institution is received.

Payments will be collected by the Comité National Français des Recherches Arctiques et Antarctiques (CNFRAA) who is providing administrative support to the KPS2025 Symposium.

Quote for purchase order
If you need a quote for a purchase order, please send an email to kps2025@thalassa.one, indicating: NAME, FAMILY NAME, if you want a purchase order for a regular rate (140 euros) or student rate (70 euros). For a student rate, please add a proof of enrolment (PhD candidate, Master’s student).

Once you have your purchase order, please send it to kps2025@thalassa.one and your registration will be confirmed.
